Dennis Rice, 85, of Richmond passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Baptist Health – Lexington after a brief illness. Mr. Rice was born on May 15, 1931, in Madison County, Kentucky and grew up in Estill County. He was the son of the late Charlie Clay Rice and Allie Miller Rice.

Mr. Rice was a graduate of Estill County High School. He retired from the Okonite Cable Company in 1997 after 27 years of service. He was a member of member Clarksville Baptist Church but attended Pilot Knob Missionary Baptist Church. Continue reading Dennis Rice

Mr. Ellis L. Little, 67, of Richmond, passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at his home. Mr. Little, the son of the late Raymond Little and Marie Barrett Little, was born in Owsley County on February 17, 1949.

He had worked for the Federal Government and was a U. S. Army Veteran, having served in Vietnam. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gun collecting, and loved watching Westerns. Most importantly, he was saved at the Faith Baptist Church near his home.
