Harold was born January 3, 1959 in Biloxi, Mississippi, son of the late Harold K. Combs, Sr. And Joyce Rivell Combs Nelson. Harold was an Air Force brat but he and his parents called Kentucky home.

James Arthur Wylie

James Arthur Wylie, age 83, died Wednesday, November 9th, 2016 at his home. He was born in Garrard County, KY., to the Late George and Laura Creech Wylie.

He was retired from the Dayton Printing Company in Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Wylie was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed bowling, having bowled a perfect 300-point game in 1969.

Other than his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Elsie Howard Wylie, two brothers, William Henry and Samuel Franklin Wylie, three sisters, Ruby Harold, Ruth Edester and Nannie Bonadio, his grandson, Daniel Ray Powell and his daughter-in-law, Elena Aubgan Wylie.

Mr. Wylie is survived by his children, James Michael Wylie and Diana (Wally) Jones both of Berea, KY, a brother, Tom Wylie of Lexington, KY, four sisters, Laura Frances Ambrosio, Maudie Neeley, Hazel Jane Sparks and Shirley Cheeks all of Berea. Three grandchildren, Brian, Crystal and Bill Wylie and two great grandchildren, Maizy Ray Dunaway and Ryker Jared Wylie.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Davis & Powell Funeral Home, burial will follow in the Cartersville Cemetery in Garrard County. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service.
