American Indians in Kentucky Monday, September 9th, 7-8p.m. Madison County Extension Education Center, 230 Duncannon Lane, Richmond, Kentucky

American Indians have lived in Kentucky for more than 11,000 years. When Euro-Americans settled here, Shawnee, Cherokee, and Chickasaws, among others already lived here. Today, Kentucky’s citizens still hold misconceptions about the Commonwealth’s American Indian peoples.
