The historic Richmond Raceway in Richmond, KY will have new promoters in 2014 in the form of Larry, Chad, and Sarah Yantz and they would like to invite everyone out for a meet, greet, and eat on Saturday afternoon November 8 at 2:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 6, jeweler and lapidary artist John Leeds, of Richmond, will demonstrate how he cuts and polishes Kentucky agates from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Artisan Center at Berea.

Beautiful specimens of banded Kentucky agates have been discovered in Estill, Lee, Powell, Jackson and Rockcastle counties. These agates are called (more…)

The Folk Circle Association of Berea will celebrate its 21st Danish – American Christmas Celebration at the Russel Acton Folk Center. The event will start at 5:30 On December 8.

This is a free, fun, family friendly event for kids of all ages. Come and join us for the Santa’s workshops, music, cartels, dancing storytelling, snacks, ris a la mande, live candles on the tree and the exceptional Santa Lucia processional.

This year’s director is Sune Frederiksen, a native of Denmark and the owner of Berea Center for the Arts.
