Madison County Woman Injured in Crash on I-75

A crash on northbound I-75 involving a tractor trailer and a Mustang ended in a woman having to be airlifted to a hospital. The crash happened around 9 p.m. Wednesday, just north of Exit 83 in Richmond.

Emergency crews had to lift the tractor trailer off the car, before rescuing the driver inside. The driver was identified as 37 year old Lucinda Burns of Berea. Investigators say they are still trying to figure out what caused the accident.

Lucinda is the daughter of Brother Cecil Burns of Glory Land Baptist Church of Richmond, KY. The Staff of BereaOnline.com would like to extend our thoughts and prayers out to the Burns family.
