Madison County Sheriffs Department War on Drugs

Madison Co. Sheriffs Deputy Todd Allen and Deputy Bruce King and MSO K-9 Kleisar


On 01/03/2012 at approximately 3:35 p.m. Deputy Todd Allen with the Madison County Sheriffs Office made a routine traffic stop on commercial drive in Richmond Ky, on a Christopher J. Harris, age 42, 0f 185 Peyton Town Road. During the stop the Sheriffs Departments K-9 Unit Deputy Bruce King & MSO K-9 “Kleisar” were brought in. The K-9 “Kleisar” alerted to illegal drugs being in the vehicle and search incident to that revealed the following: approximately 14 grams of cocaine, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, as well as prescription medication to include : morphine, oxycodone, hydrocodone, endocet, and xanax. The street value of the narcotics was approximately $3000.00. Mr. Harris was arrested and charged with Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (Cocaine), Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree (Opiates) and Trafficking in Marijuana. Mr. Harris was also found to have in his possession over $2000.00 in cash. Mr. Harris was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center and is being held on a $25,000.00 bond.

    Thank you Dep. B. King for not treating me like trash! Alot of people get into trouble and people assume automaticly that they are garbage and never give them benefit of the doubt, and I just wanted to thank you Dep. King for not treating me like garbage.
