Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office Arrest Fugitive from Ohio

On Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 9:45 a.m. the Madison County Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephanie Turner on an active indictment warrant from Ohio for Aggravated Robbery, two counts of Aggravated Burglary, Theft of Drugs, Kidnapping, and Abduction.

KSP Charges Man With Child Sexual Exploitation Offenses

ARRESTED

On March 7, 2017, at approximately 12:09 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch arrested Bradley J. Hardesty, 33, on charges related to distribution and possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor.

Hardesty was arrested as the result of an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation. The KSP Electronic Crime Branch began the investigation after discovering the suspect sharing images of child sexual exploitation online. Beshear: Former Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department Chief Indicted on Abuse of Public Trust

Attorney General Andy Beshear today announced that the former Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department Chief has been indicted on one count of abuse of public trust under $10,000, a Class D felony.

Wendell Perkins, 59, of Buffalo, was recently indicted by a LaRue County grand jury for allegedly using funds belonging to the fire department to pay for automotive-related expenditures for non-department vehicles while fire chief. On Friday, March 03, 2017 at approximately 1:50 AM, Kentucky State Police Post 11, London received calls from several motorists on KY HWY 80 near the Pulaski and Laurel County line. Motorists advised that there was debris in the roadway and their vehicles had been damaged, by what they thought was gunfire.

KSP Post 7 to Conduct Traffic Safety Checkpoint

The Kentucky State Police, Richmond Post, which provides coverage for Madison, Clark, Estill, Lee, Owsley, Jackson, Mercer, Boyle, Lincoln, Garrard and Jessamine counties, will be conducting periodic traffic safety checkpoints at locations approved by the Kentucky State Police Policy and Procedures Manual. Drug Arrest: On 02/27/2017 officers were called to Walmart in reference to a person passed out in a vehicle. The vehicle was located and the driver was passed out and showed several signs of impairment after he got out of the vehicle.
